Cole de Jager President (he/him)
Cole C. De Jager is a PhD student in Philosophy. He earned a B.A. (Combined Honors) in Contemporary Studies and History from the University of King’s College/Dalhousie University in 2021, and an M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Western Ontario in 2022. His master's research paper focused on Arthur Schopenhauer’s theory of aesthetic perception. Historically, his research interests are in Kant and post-Kantian German philosophy; systematically, he is interested in aesthetics, philosophy of perception, and political and legal philosophy
Charié Payne, Vice-President (she/her)
Charié Payne completed an MA in Philosophy at American University in May 2022. She received a BA in Philosophy-Pre Law and Africana Studies from Cal State Fresno in 2019. Her philosophical interests include continental philosophy, critical race philosophy, and feminist philosophy, as well as recently developed interests in Western and Latin American phenomenology. Charié has held multiple leadership positions at Cal State Fresno and American University, including NAACP President, Vice President, Secretary, and Senior Advisor. She also served as the Africana Studies Student Association President and Vice President and as the Captain of the Fresno Debate Team.
Marie-Anne Perreault, Treasurer (she/her)
Marie-Anne Perreault completed an MA in Philosophy at the Université de Montréal in August 2022, where she also completed a BA in Philosophy. She is from Canada. Her philosophical interests include phenomenology, aesthetics, psychoanalysis, social epistemology, critical race theory, feminist philosophy, and critical theory. She has published four articles and one book chapter. She has held multiple academic leadership positions, including the General Coordinator and Communications Manager of the Students Association of Université de Montréal.
Judith Chavarria, Secretary (she/her)
Judith Chavarria is a PhD student in philosophy. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from Florida International University in 2024, with a minor in English. Her primary areas of study include existential phenomenology, queer and gender studies, deconstructive practice, and Marxism. She is concerned with the multifaceted role of method in philosophical understanding and social practice
Ben Decarie-Daigneault, Media Manager (he/him)
Benjamin Decarie-Daigneault completed an MA in Philosophy from Université Laval in June 2022. He received his BA in Philosophy at the same institution in 2019. His philosophical interests include 20th & 21st century phenomenology, environmental ethics, and feminist philosophy. He has published articles in the peer reviewed journals Philosophiques, Symposium, Chiasmi International, and Philosophy and Social Criticism. He has a forthcoming publication in the Spring 2025 issue of Continental Philosophy Review.
Sofia Esner, Office Manager (she/her)
